The Regent Theatre
During its eighty three years of operation the Regent Theatre has hosted ballet, contemporary dance, opera, musical theatre, stand-up comedy, Shakespearean drama, circuses, film festivals, school productions, community events, weddings, black-tie dinners, prizegivings, graduations, and more. The chandeliers, special effects lighting, and contemporary technology of this glorious auditorium also make for a truly unique conference, awards ceremony, or formal dining experience.
The Assembly area under the stage, coupled with the Green Room and seven dressing rooms makes for ideal breakout facilities for conferences or any array of other events. This is a multi-purpose venue suitable for staging spectacular shows, as well a truly unique backdrop for your conference, prizegiving, wedding, or any other type of function. The Regent Theatre is fully licensed and has an exceptional catering kitchen.
The Clarkson Room is a smaller, but equally delightful area, suitable for a variety of functions. It comfortable holds up to sixty people seated or 80-100 standing for a cocktail function and is also fully licensed. The room includes luxurious fittings and fixtures as well as all the technology necessary to transform the space for educational or corporate events.
The stylish foyer is a striking location for wedding photos or special social occasions and is complemented by the beautiful bar facilities on the lower level. Coupled with this, the incomparable architectural design will make any occasion stunningly unique.
