With the ambiance created by our beautiful elegant building that dates back to the early 1900’s , The Savoy is one of Dunedin’s leading function venues catering for conference dinners, corporate events, incentive events, gala dinners & banquets, weddings, balls and cocktail functions for guests ranging from 10 to 200 people. Centrally located one block south of the Octagon on Princes Street, The Savoy is in close proximity to Dunedin’s major hotels.


With 2 rooms available, The Tudor Hall can easily accommodate 200 guests without compromising the dance floor or band area, whilst the Tudor Lounge seats up to 50 guests. Each has an open fire, chandeliers, oak paneling and leadlight windows providing a distinctive theme. We have gained great experience in hosting functions from many companies and organisations from throughout New Zealand and internationally.


The Savoy’s services also extend to outcatering. Be a guest at your own event with our versatile catering. Our staff can drop and go or stay and serve. Let The Savoy take the stress out of your occasion and deliver you exceptional food and service to help ensure your event is a success. No event is too big or too small. Our Executive Chef can tailor menus to help celebrate your event in style.
